6th Annual First Day Trail Run and Walk

Registration/Check-In at Bay View Shelter: 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Run/Walk Start Time: 3:30 p.m.

This is an untimed, non-competitive run/walk. Choose from a 3.7 mile or 1.3 mile course.

Advance Registration is $15 – Deadline is December 30
• Advance registration is ONLINE only at http://bit.ly/firstday2019
• Advance registration includes the post-event appetizer buffet at the Fourwinds Lakeside Inn (located inside Fairfax SRA).
• First 300 people to ADVANCE register receive a commemorative patch AND a $15 gift certificate for the restaurants at the Fourwinds Lakeside Inn.

Same-day registration is $15
• Same-day registration includes the post-event appetizer buffet at the Fourwinds Lakeside Inn (located inside Fairfax SRA).

Post-event drawing! All attendees get a ticket for the prize drawing, which includes prizes from the Fourwinds Lakeside Inn and Marina and a 2019 Indiana State Parks Annual Entrance Permit.

Special note for leisurely walkers: If you choose the longer course, please be aware that the courses officially close 90 minutes after the start and the appetizer buffet in the Fourwinds shuts down at 5:30 p.m.

We do allow dogs to participate in this event. They must be on a leash of 6′ or less at all times, and we ask that you begin the run/walk at the back of the group. Dogs are not permitted inside the Fourwinds Lakeside Inn (where the post-event buffet and prize drawing are held).
