‘What’s Cookin’?’ is the name of the latest WFHB Firehouse Follies production. Special Musical Guest – Andy Cohen. The Firehouse Follies are Bloomington’s answer to ‘The Prairie Home Companion’ featuring the Unusual Suspects – radio acting troupe, The WFHB GoZpel GurlZ and house band ‘The Firehouse Rounders’ If you’ve never been to a Firehouse Follies – you need to get out and do that! All proceeds to benefit community radio – WFHB (FM 91.3, 98.1/ Bloomington,100.7 Brown County, 106.3/Ellettsville, Spencer). You can listen LIVE 4-6 p.m. – June 5, 2016 online www.wfhb.org, but if at all possible, please come and be part of the Audience ‘heard around the world’ – ALL AGES

An evening of unique, creative and inspiring film making from the Bloomington community and afar.

Since June of 2009, The Instant Gratification Movie Challenge has put out a monthly “Call-To-Create” to all Bloomingtonians. The challenge is simple, a theme is set, and folks have a month to complete a new short film in time for our screening. All movies submitted are shown, even from the people who come running in with their completed work with just seconds to spare.

Filmmakers and non filmmakers alike come together to share and experience movie making. It’s always an inspiring and fun night for the audience and the participants.

Quickly outgrowing their first ever challenge at Plan-9 (then the Curiodrome), screenings have been held at Rhino’s, The Owlery, backyards, The Fell Building, and their new home at The Void, and they are excited to celebrate their 7th anniversary at one of Bloomington’s historic landmarks with a history in cinema, The Buskirk-Chumley Theater. With a desire to open our doors further to Bloomington’s growing film community, The BCT is pleased to support and host the movie challenge.

If you have yet to experience this, now is your chance to catch up! Join us and help celebrate our 7 year anniversary. We will be screening a collection of the best movie challenge submissions from over the years.

We will be kicking the night off with our current monthly movie challenge, the theme for the month is “Big Deal”.
