07:30 pm to 08:00 pm
Virtual Event (Zoom)
https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJMtfu2sqzguHNDO7zuIyduUju8UiGAaBpgS

Join us for a reading of If You Take Away the Otter by Susannah Buhrman-Deever with illustrations by Matthew Trueman. If otters disappear, what happens to their kelp forest habitat? We will talk about habitats, food chains, and food webs after this beautiful book that highlights a marine “forest.” Science Story Time allows young scientists to develop literacy and STEM skills as well as build vocabulary by actively participating in the program. Activities designed for ages 3-6. All welcome. Materials are not necessary, but if you want to bring drawing materials of your choice, you can explore drawing a food web or chain.
