In 1956, Crest unveiled their toothpaste to the world. For years prior to the release, scientists at Indiana University created the cavity preventing prototype and used residents as its test subjects. Through Crest advertisements, this exhibition will tell the story of how IU and Monroe County were involved with a revolutionary invention.

Improv troupe auditions
05:15 pm
Stone Belt Arc
http://www.stonebelt.org
Community members are being sought to perform improvisational theater alongside people with developmental disabilities as part of Stone Belt’s Playback Troupe. Playback theatre is an interactive improvisational performance that involves the troupe enacting audience stories on the spot.
Playback Troupe antics will be woven throughout traditional “I Am You” performances, which typically range from monologues and skits to musical performances and interviews. Performances take place on three nights, February 20 to 22, 2020.
Individuals with an interest in performance, improvisation, and meaningful engagement with people with diverse talents are invited to audition for the troupe. Selected troupe members are expected to participate in weekly rehearsals held on Tuesday evenings, from June to February, as well as all dress rehearsals and performances in February.
