Nell Devitt’s modular ceramic wall tiles continue to be used by designers and in architectural settings throughout the country.
In this exhibition Nell has integrated early and current clay work — attempting to show her changing aesthetics, and technical abilities, different clay bodies and firing techniques from 1978 until today.

Nell will be present at the opening reception on Friday evening, November 3rd from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.

The exhibition will be up from October 28 through November 18. 2017

IU’s Chinese Calligraphy Club will present activities and crafts for exploring the Silk Road–an ancient network of trade routes that were for centuries central to cultural interaction originally connecting the East and West. The event will be free and open to the public.

The I Fell gallery invites you to Cirque Populus, a collection of images by Jeremy Hogan, including Hogan’s own street photography and vintage photographs. Hogan’s own work includes images taken at fairs, parades, and community performances as well as shots taken of Bloomington’s vibrant Cirque scene. The vintage photographs feature a family of aerial circus performers known as the Five Fearless Flyers, who toured with the Russell Brothers’ Circus in the 20s and 30s.

The Pop-up Gallery will feature Landscapes and Harvests, paintings by Veda Stanfield.

In celebration of the I Fell’s 5th anniversary, we will also be hosting a dance party from 8-10pm.
