Knowledge of the Details: Applied Anatomy with Derek Cook

05:30 pm to 07:00 pm on Nov 10
Vibe Yoga Studio
http://www.vibeyogastudio.com

Yoga asana is a complex and sophisticated art, and as any true artist will tell you, mastery requires unending inquiry. During this weekend, we will train that inquiry on the Modern Postural portion of the practice. We will unpack the intricacies of posture, discuss common cues from an alignment perspective and, together, explore the nuances of how bodies move through asana. This training is designed to open up your perspective and cultivate intelligent curiosity. Bring with you everything you know about posture, alignment, and anatomy, then leave it sitting next to you on your mat – keeping only your deep desire for more information and new points of view.

November 8th 5:30-9:30pm
November 9th 9:00am-7:00pm
November 10th 9:00am-7:00pm

This weekend-long training is open to all, and continuing education is available for those working toward a 500 hour yoga teacher certification.

An Important Message from Bloom Magazine

For the past 14 years, we have been publishing Bloom, a free, bimonthly cultural and lifestyle magazine serving Bloomington, Indiana, and surrounding communities. We have four missions: to support local businesses, local charities, local arts, and diversity. We are an integral part of the fabric of this community.

Like so many small businesses (4 employees), we are facing huge challenges in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to be able to continue producing the magazine and our website, magbloom.com, but we need your help.

Please consider donating to our GoFundMe drive using the link below. Thank you!
