Playing with Fire: Sand casting with Jacci Delaney

04:00 pm to 07:00 pm
Bloomington Creative Glass Center 229 W. Grimes Ln Bloomington, IN 47403
http://bloomingtoncreativeglasscenter.org/events/delaney.html

Open to all ages. Minors must be accompanied by a guardian.

Come make your own glass art! At this public workshop we will be making cast glass objects by pressing an object into sand, removing it, and then ladling molten glass into the hole left behind.

You can use anything to make your shape in the sand; a small item you bring with you, one of the fun items we have on hand, or even your own hand.

Castings need to cool slowly in the kiln overnight. Castings will be ready for pickup by November 21. All castings must be picked up by December 6 unless other arrangements are made with BCGC staff. Please let us know if you will need your item shipped. There is an additional fee for shipping.

Participants must wear closed toe shoes.
