Santa has a special mailbox inside Fountain Square that allows children to mail their hand-written wish list to the big man himself. The letters are picked up by Santa’s mail-delivery elves and taken directly to him to be read one by one. After reading each letter, Santa personally sends a response letter to each child’s address. *** Please ensure the return address is written/marked clearly. ***

Step into our artistic winter wonderland at our 222 W 2nd St. location on select weekends in November and December! Artisan Alley will be hosting a Holiday Market where local art vendors will be selling their work to make the perfect handmade gifts!
There will also be a FREE Santa Clause photo booth where kids can meet Santa and get pictures.
After meeting Santa, the whole family can make handmade ornaments for free in one of our artist’s open studios!
Visitors will be able to browse our Made shop during this event in addition to browsing the local artists’ booths that will be set up in our location.
Entrance to this event is completely free and everyone is welcome to join in on the fun Holiday activities.

Annual Canopy of Lights Open House

Located on the Courthouse Lawn & Fountain Square

Experience one of Bloomington’s most magical traditions as Santa flips the switch to transform the downtown into a sparkling, winter wonderland, displaying thousands of lights. Hear tunes played by the Bloomington Brass Band, see characters in costume, enjoy hot chocolate and festive snacks, and stop in Fountain Square after the lighting to get a photo with Santa! You’ll be glad you came!

The Canopy of Lights is a FREE event to attend.
Chamber Singers will be on the stairs again from 6pm – 7pm.
Music Makers will be by Stefanos Café from 6pm – 7pm.

Photo Options, $3 or $10 Per Photo (cash or check only)

1. Option 1 – Traditional Print Photo, $10
Includes a printed photo placed in a protective holiday folder to be enjoyed all season long. Additional prints may be purchased for $10 each.

2. Option 2 – Take Your Own, $3
Using your own device, you may take photos of your child with Santa in the decorative, holiday scene.
