Sissy Brown, Margaret Tratta, Brad Harris, and Chris Burch – TONIGHT at the Bloomington Songwriter Showcase

The Players Pub - 424 South Walnut St., Bloomington IN 47401
https://www.facebook.com/BloomingtonSongwriters

Sissy Brown www.reverbnation.com/sissybrown will be making her debut performance this evening. Sissy grew up in near Lawton, Oklahoma in a family full of musicians. She was classically trained, and as a teen went to Europe to sing classical music, but eventually found her own sounds and turned towards her country roots. Sissy spent some serious time in Austin TX, but has made her way back to Kansas City where she presently resides and describes Kansas City as “The happiest place on Earth” and has no current plans to move on. Fortunately for us – Sissy Brown is making her way to Bloomington IN to be part of the Bloomington Songwriter Showcase this Monday evening. , but plans to tour as much as possible while keeping a home in Kansas City Missouri. Margaret Tratta has performed at a couple of our Open ‘Share-a-Chair evenings’ and has won herself a spot as a full-fledged Feature Songwriter. Her songs are rather surprising given her young-girl, appearance. .. singing about things you wouldn’t expect to hear from this young lady. Her vocals are strong, and although she is a novice (this will be her first Showcase anywhere!), but we think the Audience will love her and welcome her with open arms. Brad Harris www.facebook.com/brad.harris.5686 is from Bloomington IN, but works out of Bedford IN for the most part. Harris, a County Songwriter with a bit of a Rock ‘N Roll edge runs an open mic at the Old Towne Tavern in Bedford IN, so he gets exposure to lots of styles of music and levels of talent. This will be Brad’s first Showcase with us – but not likely his last! Chris Burch www.reverbnation.com/chrisburch – is also making his first appearance on the Showcase. Chris is an Indiana-based artist who has performed to audiences all over Indiana, as well as the Southwest region of the country. This talented song-writer has the ability to pull in audiences with his unique voice, ever-apparent passion, and genuine natured music. Please check out all of the writers’ websites for a sneak preview of this Monday’s Showcase.
NO COVER CHARGE and ALL AGES are welcomed
