Fourth Street Festival of the Arts and Crafts

The annual Labor Day Weekend show is back! Following the most current CDC guidelines, Fourth Street is proud to return to this cherished tradition. Locally organized by Bloomington Artists and art lovers, the festival will host artisans from across the country who will offer their work to the public. This year’s festival will be smaller for the safety of our community and the artists. It’s back! The First Sunday Sale at the Friends of the Monroe County Public Library Bookstore returns on Sunday, September 5th and will continue the first Sunday of each month. All books, music, and movies will be available at half price. Proceeds support the programs offered by the Library. Bookstore hours are noon to 5:00 pm on Sundays. The Bookstore is located on the first floor of the Library at 303 E Kirkwood Ave.

In Every Brilliant Thing, a young girl attempts to ease her mother’s depression by creating a list of all the best things in the world. Beloved Cardinal veteran Diane Kondrat will capture your heart with this moving, humorous story which reminds us all of the wonderful and weird things that make life worth living.
