Tamango — YOUR tango band in Bloomington, Indiana — is set to make Bloomington the newest Tango Capital of the Midwest!

Committed to performing live tango music EVERY FIRST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH, Tamango welcomes culture lovers of all kinds — dancers, listeners, families, esp. those who are absolutely new to tango — to participate in the celebration of true human connection.

We will teach you how — or simply make room for you — to dance to the fun and friendly popular urban music of Buenos Aires!! Tango dancers from nearby Metropolis — Louisville, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, West Lafayette — usually join us for this special live music dance event. Come watch, learn, meet new people and dance to LIVE MUSIC!!

Tipple + Tune is a live music night showcasing artists from the service industry, happening on the 1st Monday of the month at Cardinal Spirits. On Dec. 2, join  trumpeter Miró Sobrer, pianist Ellie Pruneau, and bassist Brendan Keller-Tuberg for an instrumental jazz set which will feature a combination of genre-bending original compositions, pop tunes, classic jazz compositions, and a Christmas tune or two!Free to attend and open to the public, 21+, and $1 from a featured cocktail will be donated to a local charity.

For the past 14 years, we have been publishing Bloom, a free, bimonthly cultural and lifestyle magazine serving Bloomington, Indiana, and surrounding communities. We have four missions: to support local businesses, local charities, local arts, and diversity. We are an integral part of the fabric of this community.
