https://bctboxoffice.org/event/the-big-lebowski/

Jeff ‘The Dude’ Leboswki is mistaken for Jeffrey Lebowski, who is The Big Lebowski. Which explains why he’s roughed up and has his precious rug peed on. In search of recompense, The Dude tracks down his namesake, who offers him a job. His wife has been kidnapped and he needs a reliable bagman. In his quest, he is aided and hindered by his pals Walter Sobchak, an unforgettable ball of hilarity and fury played perfectly by John Goodman, and the always clueless Donny, played by Steve Buscemi.

Over the decades, The Big Lebowski has become a cult classic, and in many ways, has remained one of the Coen brothers most enduring films.

Rated R for (Drug Content | Brief Violence | Pervasive Strong Language | Sexuality).

Doors open at 6:30pm for this general admission event. The length of the film is 117 minutes.

Family Dance Party

07:00 pm to 08:00 pm
Bryan Park
https://cardinalstage.org/dance-party/

Get out of the house and move your body! Cardinal is throwing an outdoor dance party on Friday, July 16th at 7:00pm at Bryan Park that will be fun for all ages. Want to show off your moves? You can learn a choreographed group dance at home and join the performance that will kick off the party! Plus, see a special performance from the Bloomington Academy of Film and Theatre’s Cardinal Broadway Bootcamp.

Want to participate in the group dance? We’re getting the party started with Katy Perry’s “Roar”! Watch the video below to practice the choreography at home. On the day of the party, arrive early to find a space and practice. Rehearsal will start an hour before the event, at 6:00pm sharp. Try to wear solid, bright colors so you stand out against the grass!

Won’t have a chance to practice the dance at home? No problem! After the big performance around 7:00pm, the “dance floor” will be open for all. Feel free to come and watch – dance as little or as much as you’d like!

Please RSVP so we know how many people to expect and can keep you informed of any updates to the event. The rain date for this event is July 17. RSVP and learn the choreography at https://cardinalstage.org/dance-party/
