Parkinson’s is a part of some people’s lives but it doesn’t have to be life itself. When we not only manage the disease but also plan ahead for new symptoms that may arise, we more easily adapt. This is an interactive group with opportunities for sharing and questions. Heather will introduce some chair exercises and offer support for caregivers as well. About the Monthly Facilitator: Heather Gaunt (Covenant Care , McCormick’s Creek Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing,) has been working in healthcare for the last 8 years with a primary focus on older adults, rehab for those adults as well as preventative measures to allow them to remain independent for as long as possible.
