In March WonderLab’s Early Childhood Education programs will explore The Human Body. Science Sprouts and Sprouts Lab activities are geared towards ages birth to 3, Discovery Time towards ages 4 to 6, but caregivers and siblings are always welcome to attend as well.

A Beatle Celebration by Glenn Gass
The near-universal appeal of the Beatles’ music, from the blissful pop abandon of “She Loves You” to the classically-etched “Penny Lane” and the sophisticated song-cycle on Abbey Road make it the great legacy of popular music. This brief presentation will provide an overview of the Beatles’ career as a warm-up to RAIN’s performance and a commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Abbey Road and the final bow of pop’s greatest group.
Glenn Gass is a Rudy Professor and Provost Professor of Music in General Studies at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. He teaches a series of courses that he developed on the history of rock and popular music that were the first to be offered through a music school and are now the longest-running courses of their kind in the world. Gass has specifically been teaching the course, The Music of The Beatles, since 1982, and this past fall he taught the class for the last time. He is the recipient of the Herman B Wells Lifetime Achievement Award, IU Student Alumni Association Student Choice Award, and other teaching awards and honors. He is also a member of the Education Advisory Board of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland.
