Introduction to Music Theory

Build or expand your musical foundations with this entry-level course covering the fundamentals of music theory. Learn the history of music theory, fundamentals such as intervals, the Major Scale, modes, chords and chord progressions, and improvisational applications of theory. The material will be demonstrated on the guitar, but may be applied to the student’s instrument of choice. No prior experience in music is necessary, and no instrument is needed for class.

6 Mondays, April 2 through May 7. Register on website.
