Celebrating 60 years of preparing, empowering, and supporting people with developmental disabilities, Stone Belt Arc presents “Belt Out Loud!,” a benefit concert featuring The Dynamics and King Bee & The Stingers. The concert is sponsored by IU Credit Union.

Stone Belt is a nonprofit organization that provides resources and supports for about 1,300 individuals with disabilities in Monroe, Lawrence, and Bartholomew counties. Established in 1958, it is the oldest and largest agency of its kind in south-central Indiana. Its supports range from residential, community employment and mental health services to Lifelong Learning day programs, family and behavior supports and manufacturing employment opportunities.

The Dynamics are an award winning, R&B group doing classics by such artists as James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Tower of Power, the Neville Brothers, and Parliament/Funkadelics. To that mix, they also add current (and-soon-to-be classic) R&B flavored songs by such artist as Santana, Prince, The Dave Matthews Band, and others. The band also includes a mixture of tasty originals, and Classic Covers from their October 1996 debut CD release, “Make That Change“, their LIVE CD release, “Doin’ It…LIVE!!!” released September 2000, as well as material from their latest CD release, “You Ain’t Got To Go Home”, which includes both live and studio recorded materials.

Bloomington’s own King Bee & The Stingers will launch the concert. King Bee & The Stingers were founded in 2006 and influenced by the works of Big Momma Thornton, Sonny Boy Williamson, Beth Hart, Howlin’ Wolf, BB King, Lester Butler, STAXX, and Steve Cropper. The band has played at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, where they were semifinalists in 2018 and 2019.

VIP Tickets for this event include up front seating and a post-concert VIP event, supported by Upland Brewing Company, to be held in the orchestra pit. Enjoy a meet-and-greet event with the bands, plus drinks and appetizers.

Cost: $20 / $50 with VIP Event
