WFIU’s Noon Edition Live at The Inkwell

11:30 am to 01:00 pm
The Inkwell

Area residents have been submitting questions to WFIU’s City Limits series since the Sept. 20th climate strike wanting to know what can be done to combat climate change on an individual and city level. We’ll address some of these questions by hosting a Noon Edition show live at The Inkwell on the Monroe County Courthouse square. We’ll have climate experts and city officials on air and will be taking written questions from the audience. You may also submit your questions for the show in advance at [email protected]

Join hosts Sara Wittmeyer and Bob Zaltsberg Friday, November 22, from 11:30am-1pm. The live radio broadcast begins at noon.

Guests will include:
Alex Crowley, Director, City of Bloomington Economic and Sustainable Development Department
Matt Flaherty – At Large Member, Bloomington City Council
Janet McCabe- Director, Environmental Resilience Institute
Andrew Predmore- Director of Sustainability, Indiana University

The event is free and open to the public. Food and drink will be available to purchase at your own cost from The Inkwell.

Cost: Free

An Important Message from Bloom Magazine

For the past 14 years, we have been publishing Bloom, a free, bimonthly cultural and lifestyle magazine serving Bloomington, Indiana, and surrounding communities. We have four missions: to support local businesses, local charities, local arts, and diversity. We are an integral part of the fabric of this community.

Like so many small businesses (4 employees), we are facing huge challenges in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to be able to continue producing the magazine and our website, magbloom.com, but we need your help.

Please consider donating to our GoFundMe drive using the link below. Thank you!
