The Joy of Giving

06:30 pm to 07:30 pm
Kadampa Meditation Center Bloomington 406 S. Walnut St. Bloomington, IN 47401
http://www.meditationinbloomington.org

“Not only can we give material help to those who need it, but we can also give our time, goodwill and love to everyone we meet” (Geshe Kelsang Gyatso)

Sometimes, especially around this time of year, ‘giving’ feel stressful and burdensome, a ‘should’ that we may even come to resent. Once we can understand the true nature of giving, it can become a source of immense benefit and joy to ourselves and others. Join us for either one or both of these 2 meditation classes. We will explore this teaching more deeply and learn a beautiful Buddhist meditation on the practice of giving, one that is especially well suited to the holiday season.

Everyone is welcome!

Cost: $10/person $5/students
