• Program fee is $10 per person.
• Limited to 15 people, minimum age of 15.
• Bring your own canoe/kayak, or rent a kayak from us for $25.
• This is an easy paddling trip that is appropriate for beginners (who have at least 2-hours of prior paddling experience). Intermediate/advanced paddlers are also welcome.

Explore a portion of Monroe Lake’s backwater with a knowledgeable guide! Our focus will be on the lake’s fascinating cultural history – you’ll learn about some of the families that once lived here and the story that the land tells about them. 2 to 3 hours

The Grunwald Gallery at Indiana University is pleased to announce the Bloomington Photography Club Annual Exhibition. This exhibition will open Friday, July 17 and continue through Friday, July 31. An opening reception will be held on Friday, July 17 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Grunwald Gallery.

The Bloomington Photography Club explores the connection between the eye, the camera, and the spirit, by fostering and encouraging growth of artistic vision and technical knowledge. The Club provides an informal, friendly, and supportive environment for photographers at all levels of ability and with interests in all types of photographic imagery. Furthermore, the Club offers a means for members to share ideas and knowledge with each other and to promote an interest in photography throughout the community through exhibitions and public events. Bloomington Restorations, Inc. invites you to the monthly Museum Open Day at the Hinkle-Garton Farmstead on Saturday, July 25, from 1-4 p.m. Friday Musicale members, Jennifer Mickel and Mark Wiedenmayer, will entertain visitors in the formal parlor. They will sing and play a variety of popular tunes from 1910s through the 1940s during the time Daisy Hinkle Garton lived in the main house. Jennifer has sung in several IU productions over the past 30 years, and Mark can be found playing at many area care facilities through his Music Ministry Volunteers Outreach program. Pure maple syrup and jellies produced on site by volunteers will be available for purchase. The Farmstead is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is owned and maintained by Bloomington Restorations, Inc. It is free and open to the public and is located at 2920 E. Mitchell Opera House presents: The Revival Road Quartet

Revival Road is a Southern Gospel quartet that sings a variety of songs, mixing some old standards with some current charting songs as well as some original tunes. The group was formed in 2010 in Greenwood, IN and travels throughout the Midwest bringing their music to six different states. The four men who make up the quartet have nearly 40 years of experience in singing quartet style music and love to share the Gospel in song to all of God’s children.
