Cardinal Stage Company Presents “Fun Home”

07:30 pm to 09:30 pm
Ivy Tech John Waldron Art Center
http://www.cardinalstage.org

“Fun Home,” a coming-of-age story, follows Alison Bechdel as she reflects on her father, a brilliant but troubled man whose secrets defined her family. Piecing together the moments that shaped her life, Alison re-examines her unique childhood at the Bechdel Funeral Home and her year of self-discovery when she left for college. “Fun Home” is a moving and refreshingly honest musical about seeing your parents through grown-up eyes. Recommended for people age 16 and up.

“A rare beauty, extraordinary and heart-gripping.” – Ben Brantley, The New York Times
