October is a month of chemistry, the study of the properties and interactions of matter, at WonderLab! Is it a solid? Is it a liquid? Join WonderLab educators as we explore non-Newtonian fluids. We will experiment with the four different types of non-Newtonian fluids and talk about their properties. This hands-on activity supports Indiana Physical Science Standards for grades 1 and 2 and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for grades 4 and 5. STEM skills include practicing the scientific method and deductive reasoning. All welcome. Activities designed for Grades 1-6.
