What:
Bug Fest is a celebration of insects and their relatives. With activities for all ages, Bug Fest offers information on insect and spider biology infused with lots of fun! From insect races to pollinators and edible insects, come and learn from the experts, enjoy insect crafts and games, storytelling, a “Flea Circus,” and much more! Find out how insects affect your environment, your garden, and public health. Wander Hilltop’s many display gardens.

When:
Saturday, October 2nd from 10am – 3pm

Hilltop Garden & Nature Center at Indiana University, located at 2367 E. 10th St. Bloomington, IN 47408.

Who:
For people of all ages, 1 to 101.
Bug Fest is a collaboration of the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation, Monroe County Parks and Recreation, Purdue Extension- Monroe County, WonderLab Museum, and Hilltop Garden & Nature Center.

Cost:
Free! However, a canned fruit or vegetable donation for Hoosier Hills Food Bank is appreciated. Remember, most fruits & vegetables are pollinated by insects!

Free parking available, or take the Bloomington Transit number 9 bus to Tulip Tree apartments, then walk 3 minutes north and you’ve arrived!
