Noon Talk: Prostitution and Politics in 1920s Berlin

Julia Roos, associate professor of history, will discuss differing views of “immorality” in Germany’s Weimar Republic (1919-1933) and the fight for the decriminalization of prostitution through the lens of the work of German Expressionist artist Otto Dix.
