Pre-register now and join us for three Thursdays as we explore some of the pivotal eras and moments in the history of video games. We will review and play games from different eras of the video game industry and examine how the games and the industry interacted with the culture of their time. We’ll begin with the first “boom” of the industry: the arcade games of the 1970s and 1980s. In addition, we’ll examine a couple of key events in the history of games, such as the Great Video Crash of 1983 and the 1993 U.S. Senate hearings, and discuss how these events shaped the industry. Finally, we will talk about the state of the video game industry today and look ahead to the future.

Cost: 60
