Virtual Event (Zoom)
https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJwuceivpzgjGNFOql1eE5s58Q_XhBZ7BYqR

Join us for a reading of Tar Beach by Faith Ringold. Tar Beach was Ringgold’s first book for children and won the Coretta Scott King Award for illustration and was named a Caldecott Honor Book. After the story, which features the George Washington Bridge, we will talk about bridges and different ways to build them. Science Story Time allows young scientists to develop literacy and STEM skills as well as build vocabulary by actively participating in the program. Activities designed for ages 3-6. All welcome. Materials are not necessary, but feel free to have any bridge building materials on hand.
