Greg O’Haver, Greg Mahan, Mary Bomar & Bob Ritter – Bloomington Songwriter Showcase

08:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Bears Place - 1316 East 3rd St., Bloomington IN 47401
http://www.facebook.com/BloomingtonSongwriters

From the Cincinnati area,  one of the finest, most energetic performers we’ve featured, Greg Mahan, (http://www.gregmahan.com) will be on our stage this evening. Mahan’s finger-picking style always wows our audience.

Joining this evening’s lineup will be Greg O’Haver (www.myspace.com/gregoryohaver). O’Haver has been touring with the New Christy Minstrels for a few years now – and besides being a very personable entertainer, and fine Songwriter, O’Haver is an inventor. If you own a Kyser Quick Change Capo– then you have Greg O’Haver to thank for that.

We have Bob Ritter on this evening as well with friend Mary Bomar (http://www.bomarandritter.com.) Mary was born in Altavista VA, where she grew up and developed a love of music from her area. Bomar was especially attracted to the Autoharp and picked up playing one rather quickly. Various work opportunities led her to live in New Jersey, Italy, California, and Virginia, and eventually back to Nashville, TN. She gets around on guitar pretty well too and, along with Bob Ritter, has developed some terrific music.

Bob Ritter (http://www.bomarandritter.com) is a Hoosier! Born in Indianapolis, IN, he was attracted to music at an early age – but was quite a good high school athlete as well! After years of performing in a series of wonderful bands – he made his way to Nashville, TN. He and Mary are each booked as individual Singer-Songwriters for this program as they each write some wonderful songs – but I’m sure they’ll be performing on each other’s music this evening. A couple who make beautiful music together – what could be better?
