Jennifer Malins at The Venue

05:30 pm to 07:00 pm
The Venue Fine Art & Gifts

On Tuesday, June 28th beginning at 5:30 p.m, The Venue will host a presentation by Jennifer Malins.
Jennifer is a teacher, Certified Integrative Nutrition Coach, and licensed HeartMath® Coach. Her practice focuses on the roots of illness rather than just its symptoms. This mind-body-spirit approach takes the whole individual into consideration, with a heavy focus on stress-management in addition to nutrition.
Using nutrition as a springboard, Jennifer leads clients on an exploration of their unique nutrition and lifestyle needs, which can include teaching them the healing powers of various foods, helping them uncover the mental processes behind their food choices, and developing a more solid spiritual practice. While diet is important, the mind is plays a huge role in a person’s health. Clients also receive HeartMath® training for stress management during their nutrition program. Unless we change our thoughts, we will fall back on old patterns. The root of many food cravings and the tendency to overeat can often be traced back to these patterns, including our memories, upbringing, emotions and habits. By being more conscious of these patterns and mitigating stress as it arises, clients can develop new habits more easily, and see long-term results rather than just a quick fix.
