Lunch with Nature Series: Winter & Early Spring 2015 Schedule
Paynetown State Recreation Area on Monroe Lake

Bring a sack lunch to enjoy during the main presentation. Afterwards, there will be a short walk/hike that highlights the topic. Each program will last approximately 90 minutes.

Programs are FREE, but there is a gate fee in April (FREE admission in January, February, and March) to enter Paynetown SRA ($5 for vehicle for Indiana residents, $7 per vehicle for out-of-state; annual passes also available).

Due to indoor space restrictions, each program is limited to 12 people (register separately for each program). Advance registration is required Registration website links and deadlines are listed below.

Spring Migration: Monday, March 30 at 11:00a

Focus on shorebird migration (and possibly a few duck species). Optional follow-up is a field trip to Stillwater Marsh (a 30 to 40 minute drive), where Monroe Lake maintains a seasonal wetland that caters to many water-loving birds. Main presentation is 45 to 60 minutes; the optional field trip afterwards is about 90 minutes (including to/from travel time).
