WFHB Firehouse Follies
“Zombie Blues: The Unusual Suspects Radio Acting Troupe”

Bloomington, Indiana: WFHB community radio announces its next installment of Firehouse Follies, a variety show performed live on the air. From 4-6pm on December 2nd, listeners can tune in to WFHB at 91.3 FM in Bloomington and Bedford, 98.1 FM in Bloomington, 100.7 FM in Brown County and 106.3 FM in Ellettsville to hear “Zombie Blues: The Unusual Suspects Radio Acting Troupe” or can experience the show as a member of the live studio audience in the Ivy Tech Waldron Whikehart Auditorium. Tickets are $10 per person, or $15 for two.

Firehouse Follies performances can include everything from live music to comedy sketches to dramatic scenes, complete with foley sound effects. This new installment of Firehouse Follies, performed by the Unusual Suspects Radio Acting Troupe, is accompanied by special musical guests The Howlin’ Brothers with Arbutus Cunningham, The WFHB Gospel Gurlz, and the Firehouse Rounders.

Producers Mike Kelsey and Richard Fish teamed up in 2008 with the goal of creating a variety show for audio theater, combining drama, comedy, music, and sound effects to produce a great show for viewers and listeners alike. Firehouse Follies would not exist without the assistance of WFHB, which is proud to broadcast the variety show.

About WFHB: WFHB is a nonprofit radio station that has been providing music, news, and information to the Bloomington community for 25 years. WFHB would not be able to function without the financial and physical support of the community, and welcomes those interested in donating or volunteering to visit their website at wfhb.org or come visit the station in person, located at 108 W. 4th Street, Bloomington, Indiana.

Cost: $10 per person, $15 for two
