Join us for a reading of Fortunately by Rhemy Charlip. After the story, we will explore the engineering design process by making parachutes. Science Story Time allows young scientists to develop literacy and STEM skills as well as build vocabulary by actively participating in the program. Activities designed for ages 3-6. All welcome. Materials are not necessary, but feel free to have items such as a plastic bag, paper coffee filters, tape, string, and a single hole punch on hand. Clothespins or small figurines work well for your parachuting “person.”

Cost: Free
