Spring into Fashion

You are invited to “Bloom into Fashion,” a local fashion show featuring quality clothing items found at The Salvation Army’s Thrift Store. Come enjoy the clothing modeled by volunteers from IU’s Christian Student Fellowship, and then find your own great deals.

Stay for lunch after the show, the proceeds from which will benefit the clothing ministry of The Salvation Army. Over 560 Monroe County households received free clothes since January 1, ensuring that everyone has the dignity of clean, attractive apparel. The lunch tickets will be available at the door.

Hatha Yoga on Wednesdays

The class is taught by Carli Astell who has been teaching yoga since 2002. Her classes consist of ashtanga inspired hatha yoga, and vinyasa yoga I and II. In her class the goal is to have fun, be free, and spread love. The class is great for beginners and practiced yogis alike. All levels are welcome and encouraged.

Big Band Extravaganza

Big Band Extravaganza April 27 6:00 PM Stardusters Music and Players Pub will present the Stardusters Big Band, a 14 piece musical ensemble, recreating the big band swing sounds of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. It is the Stardusters mission to keep the big band sound alive, featuring the music Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson and many more. Featured with the Stardusters will be vocalist Sara Caswell, singing some of the original arrangements of Diane Schuur, Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald and Natalie Cole. This will be a night to remember with plenty of space for dancing if the mood strikes you.
Players Pub is an all ages venue featuring a very special menu of snacks to a full meal. Join the crowd, eat and be merry.
