Enchanted Yogis—Celebrating Native American Cultures

12:30 pm to 01:30 pm
Mathers Museum of World Cultures/Glenn Black Laboratory of Archaeology, 416 North Indiana Avenue
http://www.mathers.indiana.edu

Enchanted Yogis is a fun-packed class for kids aged 3-8 and their caregivers presented by Samantha King, a Bloomington-based Yoga master. It combines the ancient art of oral storytelling with the healing practice of yoga, layered with scoops of imagination. This lively class will introduce children to basic yoga postures, breath, body awareness and relaxation, and will be followed by a craft that goes with the theme of the class. In September, Enchanted Yogis will celebrate Native American cultures and planting the seeds of kindness. The program will be free, but please pre-register by emailing [email protected] or phoning 855-0197.

Cost: Free
