Wonder what this crazy thing called roller derby is all about?
Bleeding Heartland Roller Derby wants YOU to join our family.
Come see what it’s all about at our Skills Camp on Sunday September 14, at Western Skateland (930 W. 17th St). It starts at 5:30 p.m and ends at 7:30 p.m. For a mere $5, plus $1 skate rental if you don’t have your own, we’ll go over the basics of the game and let you try out your skills. We’ll supply the gear, instruction and encouragement for your first roller derby lesson.
BHRD is really keen to add to our amazing referee crew. Men and women who are interested in becoming refs can attend the skills camp to try out their skills AND learn what reffing in roller derby is all about.
If you’re not interested in skating, but would love to learn about becoming one of our essential and awesome non-skating officials or volunteers, stop by and talk to us. We’ll get you signed up!
No charge for stopping by just to talk!
