Bloomington Songwriter Showcase with Brandon Pfeiffer,Suzette Weakley,Jack Diamonds,Joe Persinger – TONIGHT!

08:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Bears Place - 1316 East 3rd St., Bloomington IN 47401

“TONIGHT – two of the people who organize and host the Bloomington Songwriter Showcase – Suzette Weakley (www.reverbnation.com/SuzetteWeakley) and Brandon Pfeiffer (www.brandonjp.com) have landed on the same program! Brandon is a young, powerful Singer-Songwriter with some of the strongest vocals we’ve booked – ever. His songs are very new, and have meaningful lyrics. His chord progressions are equally strong. He is also a volunteer who helps keep the Showcase up and running. Suzette Weakley was one of the original founders of the Showcase – and has been the person booking and promoting the programs for over 9 years. Weakley has a love of people who make the music we all enjoy, and is a grand supporter of the Singer-Songwriter community, often booking them in other venues including the latest supporter of LIVE Singer-Songwriter music – Kroger Grocery Stores. Weakley’s music is personal for the most part, and she took the advice of a mentor from Nashville, IN who (years ago) advised her to ‘write about what you know – keep it short, make it rhyme’. Often laced with humor, Weakley counts on her music to speak for itself and doesn’t consider herself ‘a singer’, but a writer first who has learned to sing her songs. Also on this evening’s program is a newcomer to the program – Jack Diamonds  (https://myspace.com/solomonallenwilbur) who recently moved to Indiana from the Detroit area of Michigan where he kept pretty busy with his music, until he met the love of his life, who happened to live south of Spencer, IN in Worthington. We met him at one of our Open Guest ‘Share-a-Chair’ evenings and had to book him! Last but way, WAY from being least on tonight’s Showcase is Joe Persinger  (https://myspace.com/joepersinger) who is definitely of the country music persuasion. If his name sounds familiar – it’s because he is the father of one of our all-time faves – Aaron Persinger. Certainly, Aaron is a chip off the old block. His songs are will written, meaningful and well performed. This Showcase will be another wonderful, FREE entertainment program to enjoy on this lovely Tuesday evening.
Must be e 21+ to enter Bears Place back room – Concert Hall.

Cost: FREE!
