On the Ground in Greece, 2015: A Cultural Conversation with Steve Volan

05:30 pm to 07:00 pm
The Venue Fine Art & Gifts
http://www.Thevenuebloomington.com

On Tuesday, October 13th, beginning at 5:30 p.m., The Venue is pleased to host an informative conversation with Steve Volan, as he highlights his recent travels through his ancestral homeland of Greece. Steve’s travels coincided with the economic drama that we’ve all heard so much about, and his conversation at The Venue Fine Art & Gifts will be the perfect opportunity to gain a first hand, on the ground perspective, as seen through the eyes of someone with just a little political experience…(current member of the Bloomington City Counsel) We can also look forward to some insightful cultural comparing and contrasting, since Steve is also a graduate student in cultural geography!
Refreshments will be served at The Venue. You can visit the following link for free parking options near The Venue: http://bloomington.in.gov/parksmart
