The sixth annual Taste of East Africa combines a tasty buffet dinner (maandazi, samosas, vegetable salad etc.) and silent art auction. Bernard Woma and the African music group will entertain will traditional songs and dances. Sponsor of this family-friendly party is the non-profit Kilimanjaro Education Outreach (a.k.a. KILEO). Proceeds will help orphans from a ferry disaster or HIV/AIDS, and young people challenged by disabilities and poverty in East Africa. Buy tickets in advance at BCT box office phone 812-323-3020.
