• Marta Jasicki & the U-Station Agents. At the forefront of the Neo-Folk movement, these singers/songwriters are institutions of the Bloomington music scene, as former hosts of The Bloomington Short List Variety Show at Café Django. Marta, also loved as “Sketchy Genderson,” is the front person, Robert McCormick slaps the bass, and Steven Thomas strokes his guitar and backup vocals. Bloomington.

• Lacey Chaddock: Singer/songwriter. Her sound is “anxiety, a guitar, and swagger. A poetic, erratic, yet smooth wannabe jazzy, sorta bluesy, and blacks and purples…that swirl in and out of your thoughts with very literal blunt force. Then leaves you feeling wiser and glad that you’re not me.” Her influences are Evan Bliss, Thom Yorke, of Montreal, Erykah Badu, Dallas Green, Connor Oberst, and Bradley Nowell of Sublime, to name a few. Bloomington.
Lacey Chaddock has performed at the Acoustic Graveyard twice before and has always been an audience fave!

What is the Acoustic Graveyard?

Our motto is, ‘HEAR DIFFERENT.’

What about a music place you don’t have to buy a beer or dinner just too hear new, unusual music?

Where the focus is on the clarity of the music and lyrics?

Think MTV Unplugged. With you sharing a couch and some hummus with Kurt Cobain, instead of swearing at your lousy computer speakers….

• A micro-venue presenting the finest in acoustic & low-volume LIVE music in a living-room-like setting.

• A FREE way to experience music & musicians person to person. Without the interference of technology. Or sound professionals….

• A regular gathering of musicians and music lovers.

• A community.

•A cause….

• One helluva 3-hour, family-friendly, potluck, BYOB, love fest……

• A heartfelt homage to Bloomington, Indiana’s Swtichyard (facebook.com/TheSwitchyard), set in peaceful, picturesque Bedford, Indiana…. Halfway between Indianapolis, Indiana, and Louisville, Kentucky…..

The first Sunday of every month, musicians and music lovers come together at the Acoustic Graveyard to talk, laugh, love, and hear great live music.

Whether you’re a touring professional, singer/songwriter, campfire picker, or audience singalong champ, if you love music, you just found the new home of your Best Time…..

We’ve been featured in Bloomington’s Herald-Times twice, area radio stations, and more.

Each event night, expect to hear three to four professionals let their hair down with their favorite axe for tight half-hour sets.

And what makes the night really special, hear up to five local, unbooked nonprofessional musicians share a favorite song as they take their step toward becoming Shooting Stars.

AND THEN THERE’S AUDIENCE JAM where you get to sing and/or play along with everyone in the house on a classic we all know!

Throw in a detailed Play Bill, with bios and pictures of the featured musicians, and it’s a musical experience YouTube just can’t compete with.

And you’ll NEVER FORGET!

Typical Sunday afternoon schedule:

7-7:15 p.m. Potluck Supper, with dessert by Kimmie
