WonderLab STEM Sundays for Families – Catapults

03:00 pm to 04:00 pm
Virtual Event (Zoom)
https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJ0qceCvqTsuHNRPH2ACpw6Qi1WF7MK3B9_8

Join WonderLab educators for STEM Sunday and work together on a project for the whole family. During this STEM Sunday, we will learn about catapults and design/create our own. We will show you how to make our popular popsicle stick catapult (spoon, rubber bands, popsicle sticks). But, we will show you some other methods if you don’t have popsicle sticks! Some other materials can be used such as cardboard tubes, pencils, Tinker Toys, Lincoln Logs, and more! This is a great opportunity for the whole family or group to explore the engineering design process as well as develop STEM skills such as defining & problem solving, exploring cause & effect, and the collaborative process. This program is made possible through funding from Cook Medical. and CFC Properties.
