Hoosier CrossFit & Habitat for Humanity Fitness CompetitionCommunity Workout

09:00 am to 03:00 pm
Hoosier CrossFit - 501 N Rogers St, Bloomington, Indiana 47404
http://www.monroecountyhabitat.org

Gaining strength and stability, improving longevity, and empowering individuals are the goals for Habitat for Humanity and Hoosier CrossFit work toward daily. We are teaming up for the First Annual Sweating for Equity Competition, a fundraiser to benefit Habitat. The event will involve 3 different fitness tests including movements such as squats, pushups, rowing, running, kettlebell swings – but with a construction twist: some of the tests involve home construction items like paint cans and lumber. This will be a scored competition with prize packs for the winners.

Everyone from competitive athletes to those who enjoy fitness outside of CrossFit are encouraged to participate. We are offering 2 divisions: competitive and general.

The Competitive division will include Advanced skills, like pullups and power cleans, that you may see in traditional CrossFit workouts.

The general division will include basic skills that any fitness ability would be capable of performing like squats, pushups, running, and object carry.
